Missouri lawyers offer free legal assistance to those affected by Perry County tornado

Citizens impacted by this week’s severe storms can receive legal and insurance assistance Saturday during a Multi-Agency Resource Center disaster relief event at Perry Park Center in Perryville. A devastating tornado caused one fatality and damaged more than 100 homes Tuesday in Perry County.

During the event, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Missouri lawyers will be on site to answer law-related questions surrounding issues and problems created by the storms. Citizens can also sign up for debris removal and receive information related to food stamp replacement, emergency financial assistance and health and wellness.

Attendees are asked to bring their proof of address.
